An established 300-bed hospital in Quincy, IL, is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to cover the overnight shift on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule. This contract opportunity offers a chance to apply your pharmacy expertise in a supportive hospital environment using EPIC and Omnicell systems.

Location: Quincy, IL
Schedule: Overnight shift, approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 7 consecutive days followed by 7 days off
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with potential extensions
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications for inpatient use
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and medication therapies
• Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems for order verification and medication management
• Monitor patient medication regimens, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital protocols
• Provide drug information and counseling to healthcare staff as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Illinois pharmacist license
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
