About the Opportunity

A leading academic healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to lead high-visibility technology initiatives supporting enterprise data, interoperability, analytics, AI solutions, and business application implementations.

This role will manage complex cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, partnering with executive stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and business leaders to deliver strategic outcomes across healthcare operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading large-scale IT projects involving data integrations, analytics, enterprise applications, and healthcare technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Manage multiple concurrent technology projects supporting Data & Interoperability and Business Applications initiatives.
• Drive implementation of analytics dashboards, regulatory reporting solutions, AI chatbots, and AI-enabled business tools.
• Oversee projects involving HR, Revenue Cycle, Finance, ERP, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Timekeeping applications.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risk logs, issue logs, and governance documentation.
• Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and provide status updates to senior leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, technical resources, vendors, and system integrators.
• Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, purchase orders, and invoice tracking.
• Ensure project risks, dependencies, and issues are proactively identified and mitigated.
• Support vendor evaluations, RFI/RFP processes, and implementation partner selection.
• Lead data integration initiatives across enterprise healthcare systems.
• Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements and define solution specifications.
• Drive accountability, decision-making, and project execution to achieve desired outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT Project or Program Management experience.
• Proven experience managing technology projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, risk management, change management, and budgeting.
• Experience managing large, complex enterprise implementations.
• Ability to work effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience overseeing system integrations across multiple applications and platforms.
• Experience supporting data warehousing, analytics, reporting, and dashboard initiatives.
• Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare industry project management experience.
• Experience implementing HRIS, ERP, Financial, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Revenue Cycle applications.
• Knowledge of healthcare data and interoperability concepts.
• Familiarity with HR business processes and terminology.
• Experience managing data and analytics programs.
• Experience implementing AI applications, AI-powered features, chatbots, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience leading vendor selection, RFI, and RFP processes.
• PMP certification preferred.
