Job OpportunityRegistered Dental Hygienist – One Day per Week San Clemente, California | Direct Hire | Up to $65 per Hour A-Team Dental Staffing has partnered with an established private dental practice in San Clemente, California, to recruit a confident and clinically strong Registered Dental Hygienist for a direct-hire opportunity. The practice is seeking a hygienist with excellent periodontal charting and disease-management skills who can help strengthen its hygiene program. The ideal candidate is thorough, dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a busy, outcome-oriented environment.Schedule: One day per week Tuesday or Wednesday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Team members arrive approximately 10 minutes before the first patientCompensation: Up to $65 per hour, based on experience Potential bonus opportunitiesPractice Environment: Established for approximately 20 years Two-provider private practice Eight operatories Supportive team of approximately five staff members Assisted-hygiene model PPO, HMO, and fee-for-service patient base Results-driven and outcome-oriented environmentResponsibilities: Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis Provide periodontal maintenance and scaling and root planing Complete thorough and accurate periodontal charting Identify periodontal disease and clearly communicate clinical findings Educate patients about periodontal health and recommended treatment Perform two-quadrant SRP appointments within the practice's established scheduling protocols Administer local anesthesia within the hygienist's licensed scope Provide anesthesia for the doctor's patients when needed Apply fluoride and dental sealants Place Arestin and perform irrigation as prescribed Take diagnostic-quality digital radiographs, including bitewings, panoramic images, and full-mouth series Establish appropriate three-, four-, or six-month recall intervals Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Dentrix Collaborate with providers regarding patient treatment and periodontal needs Provide excellent chairside care and help patients feel comfortable Follow OSHA, HIPAA, sterilization, and infection-control standardsSoftware and Technology: Dentrix Practice by Numbers Denttio imaging software Papaya 3D imaging systemQualified Registered Dental Hygienists are encouraged to apply confidentially with an updated résumé.Requirements: Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license Current CPR/BLS certification Local anesthesia certification Strong periodontal charting and clinical assessment skills Experience providing SRP and periodontal maintenance Dentrix experience preferred Excellent communication and patient-education skills Comfortable working within an assisted-hygiene model Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused Ability to maintain quality care in a fast-paced environmentA-Team Dental Staffing LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment.
