This position allows for remote work while ensuring close integration with our outpatient office operations. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments of new patients to establish treatment needs, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team, attending ongoing planning meetings to adapt strategies as needed.
  • \n
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions including individual therapy, family therapy, and group process sessions aimed at enhancing patient insight and engagement.
  • \n
  • Lead psychoeducational groups focusing on mental health awareness, coping strategies, and skill-building.
  • \n
  • Regularly assess patient safety, addressing any risk factors including potential self-harm or harm to others, while making timely interventions.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with discharge planning teams to ensure continuity of care post-treatment, including necessary follow-ups to support patient reintegration.
  • \n
  • Diligently document all interactions, treatment notes, and progress reports in accordance with organizational and state guidelines.

Qualifications\n

  • A valid and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.

  • Proven ability to maintain clear and professional boundaries with clients, ensuring a therapeutic and respectful environment.

  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills essential for clinical documentation and team collaboration.

  • Experience working with diverse populations, showing cultural competence and empathy in client engagement.

  • Ability to complete required background checks and maintain compliance with ongoing licensure requisites.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly preferred, demonstrating an understanding of client dynamics in therapy.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solutions-Based Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
