Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

The Staff Accountant will:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• CPA certification is a plus but not required.
