Billing Operations Associate

Monthly Pay: $5,000 - $5,600 USD per month Summary Billing platforms, accounts-receivable ledgers, CRM queues, and payment portals anchor the daily work in this fully remote, North Carolina-based full-time role. You will help keep premium invoices, policyholder balances, and payment records accurate while partnering with agencies, carriers, and internal service teams. Job Responsibilities Use billing systems to create, review, and update invoices, statements, and account records. Monitor payment portal activity, apply premium payments, and route exceptions through established queues. Reconcile ledger entries against payment files and investigate unapplied cash or balance differences. Maintain CRM case notes for billing questions, payment arrangements, and account follow-up. Prepare routine aging and transaction reports for operations and finance partners. Qualifications Familiarity with billing, accounts receivable, invoicing, or payment processing work. Comfort navigating financial systems, CRM tools, spreadsheets, and shared documentation. Ability to interpret account balances, transaction histories, credits, and payment status. Sound judgment when escalating billing discrepancies or sensitive policyholder concerns. Associate-level experience supporting financial operations, service administration, or related workflows.
