Contract | Days | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday | 6-Month Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license that grants practice authority in Iowa
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in telemetry or a related acute care nursing specialty
• Ability to interpret and respond to cardiac telemetry rhythms

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• ACLS certification
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
