Job Title: Radiology / Cardiology / CT Technologist

Location: Muncie, IN
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a busy Diagnostic Imaging department serving a Level III Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing advanced CT imaging procedures across a diverse patient population and be comfortable working in a fast-paced inpatient and emergency care environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Acquire high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patients during imaging procedures.
  • Perform CT angiography (CTA), brain perfusion studies, and multiplanar reconstructions.
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for examinations.
  • Ensure patient safety and compliance with radiation protection standards.
  • Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical record and PACS systems.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Provide compassionate patient care while working in a high-volume environment.
Requirements

Experience

  • Experience in inpatient and emergency department settings required.
  • Community hospital experience required.
  • Adult ICU experience required.
  • First-time travelers accepted.
Required Certifications
  • ARRT Certification required.
  • ARRT (CT) Certification required.
  • BLS Certification required.
Required Skills
  • PACS experience.
  • Contrast administration.
  • CT Abdomen and Pelvis imaging.
  • CT Head and Neck imaging.
  • CT Chest imaging.
  • CT Spine imaging.
  • Musculoskeletal CT imaging.
  • Brain Perfusion studies.
  • CT Angiography (CTA).
  • Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR).
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Outpatient imaging experience.
  • Level I Trauma Center experience.
  • Teaching Hospital experience.
  • Pediatric, PICU, or NICU imaging experience.
  • IV start skills.
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Biopsy and aspiration procedures.
  • Drainage procedures.
  • Myelography experience.
  • Cerner EMR experience.
