OT, Occupational Therapist

Location: Jacksonville, FL | Schedule: Full-time, on-site Overview An educational support organization is seeking a dedicated School Based Occupational Therapist to join its team in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you will provide essential occupational therapy services to students, helping them achieve their full potential in an academic setting. What you'll do Conduct assessments to evaluate students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance students' ability to perform daily school activities Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for accommodations and modifications Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students with occupational therapy needs Required qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Preferred qualifications Experience in a school setting preferred Why this role This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by fostering their independence and helping them thrive in their educational journey. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group, SPG
