Construction Superintendent- Medical/ Healthcare

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage on-site construction operations for healthcare and medical facility projects in the San Antonio area. This role is responsible for leading field teams, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily on-site construction activities for healthcare and medical projects (hospitals, clinics, MOBs, renovations, and build-outs) Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries Maintain project schedules and ensure milestone deadlines are met Enforce safety standards and jobsite compliance (OSHA and company policies) Review drawings, specs, and submittals to ensure proper execution Conduct daily site meetings and progress reporting Work closely with Project Managers, owners, and inspectors Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent Proven experience delivering healthcare or medical construction projects Strong knowledge of MEP systems and infection control (ICRA/ILSM preferred) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent leadership and communication skills Proficient with scheduling and field management software Preferred Experience: Hospital renovations, medical office buildings (MOB), and clinical facilities Working in active/occupied healthcare environments Experience with AHCA, TJC, or similar regulatory standards #J-18808-Ljbffr Scott Humphrey Corporation
