This position assists guests with equipment rentals check-in and works to provide an efficient, informative, and service-oriented environment. This position requires exceptional guest service skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Also assists with ski and snowboard boot fittings, as needed. This position is for 2+ shifts per week, shift hours are either from mountain opening (around 7:30/Sam)-1pm, or 3pm-6pm.
General Responsibilities:- Facilitate and complete the sale of skiing/snowboarding equipment rentals in the Gunstock Rental Shop; assist guests with equipment assignments by asking relevant questions to confirm reservation details based on the guest's ability and instruction
- Process transactions on computerized ticketing and POS procedures, including but not limited to: issue receipts and tickets to guests, issues credit to customers for cancellations and
- Review rental agreement terms and conditions with guests at the point of sale with clarity and accuracy.

Education and/or experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to three months related experience and/or training: or equivalent
combination of education an experience. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in POS systems required. Strong typing abilities preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age.
Communication Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as rental contracts, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; communicate effectively before groups of guests or employees.
