Psychiatrist – Inpatient Psychiatry – Georgetown, DE

License/Certs: Delaware medical license, DEA, board certification preferred
Experience: At least 2 years in inpatient psychiatry, familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy

What You’ll Do:

Provide inpatient psychiatric assessments and treatment planning for a diverse patient population
Manage medication regimens, including pharmacotherapy and involuntary commitments
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Advanced Practice Providers and Psychologists
Document patient progress efficiently using Wellsky EMR system
Participate in treatment of anxiety, mood, personality, psychotic, substance use, and trauma-related disorders
Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations

What You Need:

Active Delaware medical license and DEA certification
Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry
Minimum of 2 years’ inpatient psychiatric experience
Strong knowledge of involuntary commitment procedures and psychopharmacology
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
