Perm - Physician - Psychiatry - Inpatient Georgetown, DE

What You’ll Do

  • Provide inpatient psychiatric care for a diverse patient population
  • Manage patients with anxiety, affective, personality, developmental, psychotic, substance use, and trauma-related disorders
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and engage in pharmacotherapy
  • Work with a supportive team including advanced practice providers and psychologists
  • Utilize Wellsky electronic medical records (EMR) system
  • Handle involuntary commitments with familiarity and professionalism
  • Collaborate with your team to ensure quality patient outcomes

What You Need

Required:

  • Valid U.S. medical license (permanent interest, not locum)
  • Experience in inpatient psychiatry and familiarity with involuntary commitments
  • Strong knowledge of psychotropic medication management

Preferred:

  • Experience with a variety of psychiatric treatment disorders
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
