Automotive General Service Technician

Job Overview Automotive General Service Technician at AAA Club Alliance. Pay: $18.00–$25.32 per hour. Schedule: Full‑time, 5 days/week (Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays often required). Sundays off and one additional day off. Location: 2871 Plank Road, Fredericksburg, VA22401. Responsibilities Mount, balance, and install tires. Maintain general automotive skills and develop technical expertise. Perform fluid flush/replacement, visual vehicle inspection, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs. Clean and maintain test equipment and machines. Empty portable fluid drains into bulk waste fluid storage tanks and clean portable drains per shop guidelines. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous automotive technician experience. Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record. Ability to operate passenger vehicles and light and medium‑duty trucks with automatic and manual transmissions. Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 75 lbs. Success in pre‑employment screenings (background check, drug screening, occupational physical assessment). Authorized to work in the USA. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision plan options.
