Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related mechanical systems on a variety of vehicles and equipment Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safety and operational efficiency Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance procedures Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks Order and manage parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and electrical components Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification preferred) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy parts and equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr
