Vice President, Loan Distribution Sales

Capital Markets & Advisory – Loan Distribution Group – Vice President of Loan Sales – New York Vice President of Loan Sales (Loan Distribution Group – New York) is responsible for leading and energizing the sales process for syndicated loan transactions across the Americas. Key appointment responsibilities include pricing, distribution strategy, and execution of deal‑related activities, while simultaneously building and nurturing relationships with institutional investors. Responsibilities Lead sales efforts for syndicated loan transactions in Project Finance and Telecom, managing pricing, distribution strategy, and closing mechanics. Build and expand relationships with banks, institutional investors (CLOs, insurance companies, hedge funds, etc.). Collaborate with Loan Syndicate, Capital Markets & Advisory, sector teams and operations to deliver best‑in‑class service. Engage actively with clients, sector teams, financial institutions, and legal counsel. Lead and execute sales for syndicated loan transactions including development of sell‑down strategies with Loan Syndicate. Coordinate closing logistics, conduct market soundings, maintain confidentiality, and determine investor suitability. Review and support preparation of Confidential Information Memoranda, offering/invite letters, and term sheets. Field and address investor Q&A, ensuring timely distribution of closing documents and completion of due diligence. Maintain syndication status reports, organize lender meetings, compile expense reports, and deliver post‑syndication and revenue reports. Collaborate with LDG Syndicate teams, maintain investor relationships focused on ING’s covered sectors, and support secondary market activities. Stay informed about industry trends, conduct regular sales calls, provide market feedback, secure customer due‑diligence approval for new counterparties, and log calls/meeting notes in Debt domain. Participate in regular sales meetings and contribute to team objectives. Qualifications and Competencies 7+ years of experience in loan syndications, lending or related sectors with strong investor relationships. Experience selling Project Finance and Telecom (Digital Infrastructure) bank loans. Experience with institutional loan sales (e.g., Term Loan B) is a strong plus. Strong relationship‑management, negotiation and communication skills. Familiarity with investor due‑diligence, compliance and legal documentation processes. Proficiency in managing data and reports using Debtdomain or similar systems. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders. Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel as required. Required FINRA SIE, Series 79, Series 63 licenses. Knowledge of ING’s products and industry sectors. Analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $230,000 – $270,000 annually.
