Description

American Traveler is hiring a PCU Float RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring at least 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• PCU Float position primarily supporting Med/Surg units
• Night shift schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours), 19:00-7:00
• Scheduled 84 hours biweekly
• Floating required to Med/Surg units

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required, in hand before start
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Nursys and NIHSS documentation required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within Med/Surg and PCU units as needed based on floating assignments
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for positive results
• Candidates should avoid CBD or related products that could affect drug screening results
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to accepting the offer
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on qualifications
