The GCT team spans the globe across the Americas, Europe, and Asia./ppGCTs main business is to provide liquidity in corporate bonds. We are rapidly growing in the markets to gain share. Our activity is client focused, and our franchise is receiving increasing recognition from investors. We operate on electronic venues where we are active in several markets and have global distribution with sales teams in the US and throughout Europe and Asia./ppING is seeking a junior IG trader within the Financial Markets Americas division./ppThe successful candidate will be responsible for trading IG products, managing risk, and contributing to the firms revenue objectives while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with industry regulations./ppThe US is aligned with the banks strategic decision to grow its presence in the Americas, leading with sector driven deployment of balance sheet, positioning ING for DCM cross-sell opportunities, and in turn deepening Sales Trading coverage./ppRole Responsibilities:/pulliProvide liquidity in IG bonds to ING Financial Markets (IFM) clients to build and promote the ING credit trading franchise./liliIdentify and disseminate flow, color, and relative value trade ideas to credit sales, debt capital markets, syndicate, and IFM Clients./liliDevelop and maintain strong client relationships with institutional investors, dealers, and issuers to enhance liquidity and drive revenue opportunities./liliMonitor market trends, credit conditions, and economic data to identify trading opportunities and inform investment strategies./liliCollaborate with the research, analytics, and sales teams to support trade ideas and deliver high-quality service to clients./liliContribute to the development of trading strategies, tools, and processes to optimize desk performance./liliManage risk/inventory to ensure the ability to quote on client inquiry and absorb the resulting flow within the firms risk tolerance./liliBack up team members including ABS trader to ensure continuity of platform and services./li/ulpQualifications and Competencies/pulliIdeal candidate will have at least 4+ years of experience on an institutional, fixed income, sales platform./liliBachelors degree or equivalent, with preference for Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field./liliSecurities licenses including Series 7 63/liliProven history of successful management of a credit trading book./liliSelf-starter, result oriented mentality and eye for high quality and integrity standards./liliGenuine team player who gets things done and helps others succeed./liliTake ownership of issues, create transparency, and build trusted relationships to win support to create favorable outcomes for both clients and ING./li/ulpSalary Range: $160,000-$215,000/ppThe salary range listed reflects base salary only.
