Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Multiple Shifts Available)

The Surgical Technician General Surgery is responsible for supporting surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile environments, and assisting surgeons and clinical teams during operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Set up operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Support circulating nurses and surgical team members
• Ensure proper handling and care of surgical specimens
• Maintain and troubleshoot OR equipment and instruments
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to surgical procedures

Available Shifts

• Full-Time (36 hours/week) Evening Shift
• Full-Time (40 hours/week) Day Shift
• Part-Time (32 hours/week) Variable Shift
• Part-Time (30 hours/week) Evening Shift

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician Program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST NBSTSA) Required upon hire
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) Required upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
