Job Description Role Overview The Manager of Senior Case Management (Negotiations & Settlements) is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving team performance, settlement outcomes, and operational excellence within the firm’s personal injury practice. This position oversees a team of senior case managers and is accountable for meeting aggressive settlement targets, maintaining high-quality client service, and building a scalable, results-driven department. This role is fully on-site in Miami Lakes and is designed for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment and is motivated by accountability, measurable results, and team development. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of senior case managers Drive monthly settlement performance and ensure achievement of departmental KPIs and targets Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations Monitor pipeline, case progression, projections, and closing outcomes Hold team members accountable to productivity, quality, and client service standards Oversee the full lifecycle of case management, including client communication, negotiations, documentation, and settlements Handle escalated client matters and ensure timely, professional resolution Analyze performance data and generate reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities Implement and maintain quality control standards through audits and process oversight Identify operational gaps and drive workflow improvements and efficiencies Develop internal talent, build leadership capability, and support succession planning Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members Ensure compliance with firm policies, legal standards, and internal procedures Work Environment Full-time, on-site position based in Miami Lakes, FL Fast-paced, high-performance environment with measurable goals and accountability standards Collaborative team setting with a strong focus on results, continuous improvement, and client outcomes Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs Occasional weekend availability may be required for training or business needs Benefits Competitive salary ($85,000 – $125,000 annually) plus BONUS Performance-driven environment with opportunities for advancement Professional development and leadership growth opportunities Collaborative and high-impact team culture Opportunity to play a key role in a growing, nationally expanding law firm Application Process Applications are open to qualified candidates with relevant legal or insurance experience. Qualifications Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 2+ years of management experience in a performance-driven environment Minimum of 2+ years of experience in personal injury law and settlement negotiations Proven track record of leading teams and consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Data-driven with the ability to analyze metrics and drive decision-making Experience with case management systems (Litify preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required Additional Information Paid Time Off: All employees who work 30 hours per week and above qualify for Paid Time Off. You will accrue a total of 4.62 hours per pay period for a total of three (3) weeks per year. Health Benefits: All employees who work 30 hours per week and above will be eligible for benefits starting on the 1st day of the month following their start date. The firm covers a fixed amount which typically covers 40 - 65% of the employee premium, depending on the selected plan. The medical insurance plans include options for national coverage and free mental health services. There are also dental plans (with unlimited coverage) and vision plans to choose from at the employee’s expense. Disability Benefits: All employees who work 30 hours per week will have Short-term and Long-term Disability benefits, paid for by the firm. Life Insurance: For all employees who work 30 hours per week and above, the firm provides 1X earnings life insurance coverage paid for by the firm. In addition, you will receive a Firm paid accidental death and dismemberment benefit that matches your life insurance coverage. Supplemental insurance options include Critical Illness, Accident, Cancer, Hospital Confinement Indemnity insurance, Term Life insurance, and Whole life insurance Retirement: All employees who work 30 hours per week and above qualify for the 401(K) plan. After the employee completes one year of service, the firm will match 100% of the first 3% of employee contributions and 50% on the next 2%, with immediate vesting.
