Job Description:

Must be competent to proficient in abdomen, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular procedures. Equipment utilized includes Canon i700, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS.

Responsibilities:

• Perform abdominal ultrasounds including aorta, IVC, liver/biliary, pancreas, spleen, and renal evaluations.
• Conduct GYN imaging such as breast and ovaries scans, including transvaginal examinations.
• Execute OB ultrasounds for all trimesters and specific complications.
• Handle neonatal scans for congenital anomalies and neonatal head assessments.
• Conduct vascular studies including carotid duplex and venous/arterial duplex scans.
• Perform procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative assistance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an acute hospital setting as a full-time sonographer.
• ARDMS (AB)(OB)(RVT) certification and active BLS from AHA are required.
• Ability to work 40-hour shifts and be available for call.
• Ability to float to other units/departments as needed.
