The firm is based in Los Angeles, with additional offices in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Charlotte. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.Intrepid Investment Bankers is expanding nationally and seeking to hire a talented and experienced professional at the Associate level in the Lifestyle Brands Group.Intrepid’s Lifestyle Brands team specializes in delivering expert M&A advisory and capital-raising services tailored to the unique needs of the consumer industry including consumer lifestyle brands, omni-channel brands, digitally native brands, experiential retail formats, and consumer services. With deep sector expertise and a proven track record, we help clients across a wide range of consumer verticals navigate complex transactions and achieve their strategic goals.ResponsibilitiesOrganizing, reviewing, and analyzing due diligence processes and materialsDeveloping valuation analyses and models (projections, LBO, DCF, public comparables, historical M&A transactions, etc.)Preparing comprehensive pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations and marketing materialsCompiling prospective acquirer & investor lists and contacting acquirers & investorsPerforming key steps in the transaction execution processSupporting senior bankers in establishing relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clientsInteracting with senior bankers to help build the firm (training, recruiting, mentoring, etc.)QualificationsMinimum of two years of sell-side M&A advisory and investment banking experience with record of completed transactions from pitch to closeDemonstrated interest in the consumer sectorOutstanding academic credentials from a top tier schoolDemonstrated critical thinking, process oriented, and strong attention to detailsExcellent written and oral communications skillsHighly proficient financial analysis and modeling skillsProactive, results oriented, can-do attitude, team playerSelf-starter willing to work in an entrepreneurial, demanding, and fast-paced environmentSignificant level of maturity and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small teamProficiency with S&P Capital IQ, Pitchbook, Salesforce CRM and online data room platformsSIE and Series 79 and 63 licenses are required The typical base pay for this role is $170,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
