Parts Warehouse Clerk 1

This position is responsible for responding to customers' needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency. Must also provide prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of all parts transactions and related warehouse activities. This requires working independently, with specific direction or as a member of a team. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Essential functions include modeling HOLT's Values Based Leadership tools, working safely, adhering to contamination control and HAZMAT rules, maintaining equipment and work areas, completing parts order pulling and stock replenishment tasks accurately and timely, developing sales and inventory skills, operating machinery and equipment, and performing other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include order pulling, job-related software, forklift operation, hydraulic hose building, ladder JSA, battery JSA, prime mover JSA, will counter operations, and all applicable policies and procedures. General knowledge of equipment and tools, knowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardware, operation and control skills of equipment or systems, equipment selection skills, ability to follow logical troubleshooting procedures, ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment used in mechanical repair including an overhead crane, ability to operate a conventional forklift, ability to operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions, ability to be self-starting and self-motivated, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to read, write, and understand information, and ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, up to two years of experience, completion of HOLT VBL and DiSC training, no supervisory responsibilities, up to 10% travel may be required, and physical requirements such as standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, stooping, climbing, and reaching, good manual dexterity, communicating with customers, supervisor, manager, and co-workers, lifting and moving materials and equipment up to 50 lbs., working in various environments, and wearing common protective or safety equipment.
