ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift (4x12-Hour)

This is a night shift position working 4x12 hours from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medication, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
Conduct assessments and monitor vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Manage ventilated patients and perform specialized procedures
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective patient management
Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or compact state
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
Experience with charting systems, specifically Community Hospital preferred
Ability to manage arterial lines, central lines, and ventilator patients
