Collaborate with the Instructional Division to align experiential learning with academic programs. Develop and maintain relationships with regional employers to identify employment opportunities. Work with Marketing to design marketing strategies to attract students, employers, and faculty. Coordinate employer visits, site visits, fairs, and other special programming. Serve on college committees and assist in planning and implementing special projects that support student success. Maintain membership in professional organizations for professional development. Support the Center for Career Success and staff in student advisement, employer outreach, and departmental coordination. Track, monitor, and report on employer and student engagement activities. Advise students on Credit for Prior Learning portfolios and submissions. Identify, develop, and maintain internship, co‑op, and all other experiential learning activities appropriate to the college’s majors and training programs. Develop effective recruitment strategies for internships and cooperative experiences. Collaborate with academics, employers, and business partners to build pipelines to employment. Lead pre‑apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs, ensuring compliance with required standards. Recruit potential apprentices and facilitate information and orientation sessions. Arrange faculty instruction and academic support for apprentices. Qualifications Three (3) years of management experience, including full‑time staff supervision and budget management. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a student‑success focus. Experience presenting workshops and/or working with students in an academic setting highly desirable. Experience in higher education is a plus. Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work with community college students with identified additional needs. Ability to research and quickly develop knowledge of employer strategies, job market trends, and occupational information sources. Ability to design and deliver workshops.
