Insight Global is looking for two Physical Design Engineers to join a leading semiconductor company sitting in Colorado Springs, Colorado or San Jose. This position involves working with the latest technology to continue driving next generation Artificial Intelligence + Machine Learning ecosystems through their PCIe Switch Products and managing mega datacenters, while leading world class performance, through their Enterprise Storage Products. More specifically, this position will require in-depth knowledge and expertise in all Physical Design aspects of taking RTL to silicon tape-out.

• Execution of Physical Design, Synthesis, Physical Verification, and Timing Closure
• Setup and Synthesizing RTL
• Timing closure through various methods and strategies
• EM/IR Analysis
• Place and Route
• Clock Tree Synthesis
• Floor-planning and Layout
• Flow and Methodology Development
• Collaborating with IC Design RTL Engineers
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors with 5-8 years of experience, or Masters with 3-8 years of experience
• Full physical design cycle experience: RTL to Tape-out/GDSII
• TCL/PERL Scripting experience
• Experience with Setup and Synthesizing RTL
• Experience with Floor Planning and Layout, Place and Route, and Timing Closure
• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering but can be flexible with right work experience)
