Customer Service / Operations Assistant
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm
Location: American Canyon
Seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service / Operations Assistant to support our team with daily customer service and warehouse-related administrative tasks. This position will help answer incoming calls, assist customers with shipment inquiries, coordinate FedEx in-transit requests, and provide general administrative support to the operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Respond to basic customer inquiries regarding orders, shipments, tracking, and delivery status.
- Assist with FedEx in-transit shipment requests, including address corrections, delivery changes, holds, and other customer requests.
- Communicate with FedEx and other carriers as needed to help resolve shipment issues.
- Monitor and follow up on shipment exceptions and customer requests.
- Assist with order paperwork, filing, stapling, organizing, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional and friendly phone manner.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through.
- Previous customer service, office administration, shipping, or logistics experience is a plus.
