As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you'll support a team of caregivers, foster a culture of compassion, and help ensure every resident receives exceptional, person-centered care in a safe and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you'll collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services (DON) to oversee the daily clinical operations of our Memory Care community. You'll provide hands-on leadership, mentor nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture focused on exceptional outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services (DON) to oversee daily nursing operations within the Memory Care community.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Charge Nurses (RN's and LPN's), CNA's, CMT's, and Restorative Aides.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, scheduling, and performance management of nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations, company policies, and clinical practices.
• Monitor resident assessments, care plans, physician orders, and clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct clinical rounds to ensure quality care, resident safety, and exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacy providers, hospice, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
• Assist with staff education, competency validation, and ongoing professional development.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends and holidays as needed
• This position actively participates in the community's Manager on Duty (MOD) and holiday rotation leadership schedule

Position Requirements:

• A valid unencumbered Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required.
• 2+ years of nursing leadership experience is required; 3+ years preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of memory care best practices, including Alzheimer's and dementia care protocols.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain a clinical team.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care (LTC), or skilled nursing (SNF) strongly preferred.
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and team leadership skills.
