Director, Clinical Outsourcing and Finance

Role Lead clinical outsourcing and finance functions for a biotech company, focusing on vendor selection, contracting, oversight, and financial planning to support clinical development from early to late stages. Responsibilities include developing scalable outsourcing strategies, managing sourcing activities for CROs and clinical suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing vendor governance frameworks. The role also involves financial analysis, budget development, cost optimization, and ensuring compliance with GxP, GCP, and regulatory standards. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Medical, Biometrics, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, and Finance, to enable efficient trial execution and strategic outsourcing decisions. Requirements Bachelor's in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; 8-10 years of experience in outsourcing and finance within biopharma, CRO, or pharma industries; proven vendor negotiation and management skills; strong financial and analytical capabilities; experience supporting Phase I-IV trials across multiple therapeutic areas is preferred. Knowledge of global clinical development, contract management, GxP, and vendor oversight is essential.
