Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment. This role involves a mix of mechanical (70%) and electrical (30%) tasks, including emergency and scheduled repairs. You'll work on troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in packaging and production machines, as well as maintaining electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Inspect and test electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Install, repair, overhaul, modify, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
• Replace defective parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures.
• Diagnose and repair faulty mechanical and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Perform mechanical repairs on high-speed packaging equipment, conveyors, palletizers, vacuum seal equipment, and box erectors.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks.
• Use basic electrical experience with 3-phase motors.
• Own and utilize personal tools.

Essential Skills

• 4-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance technician experience.
• Mechanical and electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Minor PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing.
• In-depth PLC knowledge.
• HDMI and TIG welding experience.

Work Environment

This role is based in a GMP regulated manufacturing facility, operating with a team-oriented approach. Shifts available include 2nd and 3rd shifts, with a training period on the 1st shift. The facility operates with a humble and cooperative team of approximately 90 people, making it a close-knit and supportive workplace.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $70720.00/yr.
