Server / Sandwich Maker - Brooklyn Pickle Raleigh

NOW HIRING for Brooklyn Pickle Sandwich Shop (est. 1975), one of Central New York's iconic sandwich shops now growing in North Carolina, including our Raleigh location . We're a favorite destination for fresh, craveable, quick made-to-order meals and desserts.

We are looking for friendly teammates who love freshly prepared food and serving guests! Our Sandwich Makers will work closely with our Manager and Trainers to deliver on our team mission:

We will serve our customers the freshest product in the most pleasant manner, in the least amount of time.

Our ideal candidate is looking for a positive, fun team culture where managers and teammates hold each other accountable to the same high standards and:

• honest, reliable, a great communicator and listener with a ready smile
• naturally leads by example, lifts people around them and is great with people
• comfortable working in a fast-paced, high traffic environment
• has restaurant experience, serving or expediting online orders with accuracy

Schedule: Operational hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and we are very flexible with scheduling. We are currently seeking PART TIME candidates that have full weekend availability. We offer flexible scheduling with cross-training to potentially grow into full-time positions. Typical shifts:

• AM: starts between 8 am to 11 am and ends between 3-4 pm
• PM: from 3 to 4 pm to close (about 8:45 to complete all closing tasks)

Pay: $13–$16/hour, based on experience (plus tips and bonuses)

What you'll do:

As an excellent Sandwich Maker, you will work with the Manager and Trainers to help support smooth, daily operations to meet company standards for:

• Customer service — timely greeting, service speed & order accuracy
• Timeliness — pace during AND after rush
• Cleanliness — maintain clean, organized, well-stocked service stations that comply with health department and food safety standards
• AM opening procedures — fully stocked and ready on time
• PM closing procedures — restocking and cleanliness
• Answering menu questions accurately and addressing customer concerns with grace
• Light food prep and other operational support as needed

Brooklyn Pickle has five locations in New York and in 2023 began opening in North Carolina including Southern Pines, Raleigh and Charlotte. More locations will be coming soon!

What we're looking for:

• REQUIRED: previous restaurant or customer service experience
• REQUIRED: car or reliable personal transportation
