JOB SUMMARY: The Offset Printing Press Operator role is responsible for safely operating and maintaining an Offset Printing Press to efficiently and effectively manufacture folding cartons.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Machine setup, adjustments and make readies
- Troubleshooting of machine and quality issues
- Assist with maintenance, machine setups, etc.
- Completion of required product and process audits
- Exchange of information with shifts prior to/following work shift
- Adherence to quality specifications
- Identification of product/process enhancements to improve efficiencies, reduce downtime & spoilage
- Production schedule output and timeframes
- Effectively leading work crew to meet production goals
- Attend team meetings
- Must be able to differentiate colors
- Train new team members to ensure job duties are performed efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Enforcing compliance with all company policies (GMP/AIB/Safety)
- Perform other duties, as assigned
- Must have prior printing experience as either an Operator l or Operator II with related job duties and responsibilities.
- In-depth understanding of printing concepts
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- General math skills
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and quality issues
- Post-secondary education in printing technologies a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Visual Color Discrimination - the ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of colors
