Job Summary The Sanger Leadership Center serves as an important bridge between student learners and thought leaders in both research and practice. The Center runs 120+ leadership development sessions and has over 14,500 student interactions annually. Its mission is to accelerate leader development through bold ideas, transformative experiences, and inclusive communities. For more information about the Sanger Leadership Center, please visit our website at As Program Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive support and coordination for Sanger programs. You will contribute to our positive and inclusive work community by building trusting partnerships across the school, continually learning, and creating impactful experiences for our stakeholders. You will approach work with a commitment to community, equity, and inclusion in mind. You will support a portfolio of 3-5 leadership development programs of varying complexity, including: The Michigan Ross Leader Endorsement , Leadership Crisis Challenge , the Ross Leaders Academy , the Sanger Advisory Board and Collaboration Lab , with the opportunity to support other Sanger programs as need and personal interest arise. This hybrid position is based in Ann Arbor, MI, with an expectation of three days per week on-site. The role may require occasional on-call responsibilities and work outside standard business hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Responsibilities* Programming Support and Coordination (75%)
- Coordinate the logistics and delivery of single- and multi-day leadership programs and events, working collaboratively with the program team to develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, and engage internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute creatively to program design, developing distinctive, high-impact learning experiences that enrich, empower and engage our learners and other stakeholders
- Support the Center's strategic partnerships under the direction of program leaders by preparing materials for external meetings, coordinating schedules, implementing stewardship plans, researching prospective partners, and maintaining relationship data
- Administer program budgets by monitoring expenses, completing reconciliations, preparing cost reports, and ensuring expenditures remain within established guidelines.
- Utilize Canvas, Qualtrics, and Google Applications to coordinate and communicate with students, faculty and other stakeholders before, during and after events
- In coordination with the Marketing Manager, prepare and update program materials, communications, websites, newsletters, and presentations as necessary
- In coordination with the Program Manager, Strategic Partnerships, communicate with donors, corporations, faculty, and students to facilitate their participation in programs
- Collect and summarize quantitative and qualitative data, including registration, engagement, and demographic data as well as participant surveys; recommend process, technology, policy, or procedural improvements to strengthen future programs and activities
- Participate in Data Team meetings to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and usability of Sanger's data tools and processes
- Must have at least two years of experience in education, training, leadership development, business administration, or organizational learning, alumni and donor relations, event planning, or related fields
- Previous experience planning and executing logistics related to programming, activities and events.
- Previous experience working in a customer service oriented environment
- Previous experience working with executive leadership
- Previous experience handling sensitive and confidential situations.
- Experience writing communications (i.e. emails, meeting agendas and notes, summary documents, etc) that are used with various audiences, especially with executive leaders
- Previous experience with gathering, organizing, and interpreting data effectively
- Advanced proficiency in Google docs, sheets and slides and Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint plus other database, email and calendar-keeping software and technologies
