Oral & Facial Surgery Center is a two-doctor oral surgery practice with locations in both Joplin MO & Pittsburg KS. We are fast-paced, supportive, challenging and our goal is to provide the highest quality care and the most advanced surgical techniques in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

We are seeking an experienced, full-time Dental Scheduling Coordinator to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in dental scheduling, with a strong ability to build positive relationships with patients and team members.

Schedule: Full Time, 4 Days/Week (varies) M-Th 7:30 am - 5:15 pm F 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

*Must be able and willing to work between both of our locations (Joplin, MO and Pittsburg, KS)

• Oversee patient schedule to ensure proper scheduling guidelines are met and the
  schedule is filled daily
• Confirming patient appointments and filling in cancellations as needed (with the
  assistance of other front office teammates)
• Verifying that all necessary pre-appointment information is obtained from the patient
  and/or the referring doctor's office in a timely manner (with the assistance of the other
  front office teammates)
• Set up the patient schedule up to 3-4 months in advance based on the doctor's work
  schedule
• Re-schedule appointments, as needed
• Produce and present treatment plans and financial obligations to patients in the
  absence of the Treatment Coordinator

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of Dental Front Office experience
• Must be willing and able to work between both of our locations (Joplin, MO and Pittsburg, KS)

Starting pay range is $22-$26 per hour and is commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid time off, paid major holidays, health insurance plans, participation in 401K and more. Full-time schedule is an average of 30-40 hours per week.
