Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Indiana state PT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required from AHA or ARC prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience. This is a client-specific requirement.
• Familiarity with outpatient orthopedic caseloads and manual therapy techniques preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records, preferably Epic.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow facility dress code (charcoal grey scrubs).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience treating orthopedic diagnoses in an outpatient setting, representing approximately 70% of the caseload.
• Exposure to modalities and equipment such as Hivamat, ultrasound, e-stim, BiTs, and laser.
• Previous experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings is a plus.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:30 to 17:00.
• Work days: Monday through Friday.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
• Patient ratio: 1:1 for therapy sessions.
• Float requirements: None.
• EMR system: Epic.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide outpatient-focused physical therapy services with approximately 70% orthopedic diagnoses and occasional inpatient med/surg and ICU (no ventilators) cases. Use manual therapy and therapeutic modalities to improve patient function and quality of life. Complete any required HR-assigned modules prior to the first day as directed by the hiring manager.
