The RBT implements individualized treatment plans to support behavioral, social, and emotional growth in patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.Collect and record accurate behavioral data throughout treatment sessions.Support patients in developing daily living, communication, and coping skills.Assist in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviors using approved techniques.Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care.Promote a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment aligned with hospital policies.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required.Prior experience working with children or adolescents in behavioral health, developmental, or medical settings preferred.Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills required.BLS/CPR certification required upon hire.Why Join Nexus – Dallas?Work in a pediatric specialty hospital serving children with both medical and behavioral health needs.Collaborate with an experienced team of BCBAs, therapists, and clinical professionals.Competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for continued education and certification support.Be part of a mission-driven organization focused on mending minds and transforming lives.
