Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Tele

Registered Nurse Cardiac Telemetry

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 18:45 to 07:15, scheduled for weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Assignment Details: Available for 13-26 week contracts with a maximum of 36 hours offered per week.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar fast-paced cardiac telemetry or critical care unit.
• Traveler experience accepted; first-time travelers are welcome.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.
• Skills: IV start, telemetry, pre and post-procedure care for cardiac patients, cardiac drips, and ability to manage PCI patients.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac and stroke treatments, including stable pre/post operative care for various cardiac procedures.
• Manage multiple cardiac drips as required and monitor patient response.
• Assist with admissions and discharges with support from a team lead.
• Conduct patient assessments and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Respond to patient needs and communicate effectively with the care team.

Compliance / Notes: Travelers must be available everyday week one for hospital orientation. Dress code includes navy or white scrubs, and jackets must match uniform material and color.
