About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Medical Surgical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: 3+ years of current Medical Intensive Care Unit experience License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Current ventilator experience, EPIC EMR experience preferred Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work in a specialized subunit of the ICU focused on internal medicine and non-surgical diseases. The role involves caring for patients with severe infections, acute respiratory failure, diabetic emergencies, poisonings, or severe organ dysfunction. Nurses will manage complex internal illnesses using ventilators, continuous drug infusions, and aggressive medical therapy. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks during designated holiday periods. Requests for time off must be noted during submission and cannot be made after. All scheduling requests must be included at the time of submission. Local travelers are not eligible for this position. Candidates must have their own vehicle. All requests for time off must be included in the profile prior to submission. Work history and skills checklists relevant to the position are required. A supervisory signed reference from within the last two years of employment is necessary. This role requires a dedicated commitment to patient care and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
