Local commute with weekly pay Responsibilities: Contact insurance companies to verify insurance benefits using a structured list of questions. Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently. Verify insurance information, eligibility, deductibles, copays, and timely filing requirements. Review and enter procedure codes using the company's claims processing system. Perform accurate data entry using 10-key and alphanumeric entry. Communicate professionally with insurance representatives by phone and email. Maintain detailed records while meeting productivity and accuracy goals. Work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Support claims processing for an Early Intervention program serving children ages 0-3. Qualifications: Previous experience in insurance, medical billing, claims processing, healthcare administration, customer service, or office administration is preferred. Medical claims or insurance billing experience is a plus. Knowledge of deductibles, copays, and insurance verification is helpful. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and email. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Accurate 10-key and alphanumeric data entry skills. College coursework or a degree is a plus but not required.
