Responsibilities

As a Resident Care Associate, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, home-like environment for our residents. Your day-to-day duties will include providing compassionate assistance with residents’ daily needs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. You’ll also assist with meals, hydration, and activities, all while following individualized care plans tailored to each resident.

You’ll be responsible for observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions, documenting care provided, and responding promptly to requests for assistance. Maintaining cleanliness and safety in resident rooms and common areas is also an essential part of your role. Additionally, you’ll support residents with dementia through respectful communication and redirection, and you’ll ensure their rights, privacy, and preferences are always respected.

Qualifications

We’re looking for individuals who are dependable, compassionate, and eager to make a difference. No prior experience is required, but a willingness to learn and a commitment to providing exceptional care are essential. Successful candidates will also possess:

• Strong communication skills to interact respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Patience and empathy, particularly when supporting residents with dementia.
• A focus on safety, infection prevention, and adherence to care plans.
