Job Description We have a career opportunity for a Program Manager with Traffic Incident Management experience to be part of our local team that works on innovative, practical solutions that enhance the safety of motorists in Georgia. In this role and under the direction of the Project Manager you will: Manage on-site activities for small programs/projects, tasks or subtasks of a larger project Train responders in the National Traffic Incident Management Responder (SHRP2) course Train emergency responders in standard operating guidelines Facilitate traffic incident management teams throughout these states Participate in the management of the Towing and Recovery Incident Programs (TRIP) What you’ll be doing Collaborate with Project Manager to establish project schedule and budget, and monitor progress in meeting schedule and budget requirements Develop PowerPoint presentations and training materials Deliver presentations to large groups Primary instructor for various emergency transportation operations training courses Establish relationships with high level management within government agencies Facilitate statewide TIM (Traffic Incident Management) Teams Review and document traffic incident management standard operating guidelines Foster successful working relationships between various agencies Obtain statewide open road policies Create strategic incident management plans Conduct after‑incident reviews of major incidents Provide in-field and classroom training of traffic incident management principles Develop procedures for clear communication protocols between various response agencies (fire, police, towing and recovery, emergency medical services) Develop project documents, processes, and procedures required to support quality control and final project deliverables Collaborate with Project Manager to determine number of hours required for successful completion of project tasks, anticipate project staffing needs, identify and interview available personnel, and make staffing assignments in accordance with schedule requirements Establish objectives and conduct performance appraisals for direct reports Chair job meetings; prepare and submit summary of project progress and pending issues to Project Manager Submit monthly reports to client and respond to client issues and expectations Assist Project Manager in pricing and negotiating changes to the scope of work with the client and subcontractors Anticipate problems and work with client, other stakeholders and Project Manager to identify and implement corrective actions Keep client and Project Manager informed of the day‑to‑day activities of the project Maintain accurate documentation of job progress through daily logs and other reports Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate Required Qualifications and Experience 4‑year degree in a technical or construction‑related field (or equivalent) OR 10+ years related work experience is required 10+ years proven field operations experience in traffic incident management Leadership / Management experience Experience in Emergency Response including Public Safety, Safety Service Patrol, or Wrecker Fleet Operation and Management Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity Excellent written and oral communication skills Familiarity with industry practices and regulations is required Strong communication skills and certification/training in developing and providing training to traffic incident responders Experience giving professional, formal presentations using PowerPoint or equivalent software Experience working in a Windows‑based environment; skills using Outlook, Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications and Experience Enrollment in a PM certification program is preferred Security Clearance Requirement None Benefits Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00 Medical, dental, vision, and paid time off Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401(k) Life insurance and flexible work schedules Paid holidays to fit your busy lifestyle Parsons is an equal‑opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other protected status.
