Key Responsibilities Provide high‑quality patient care: Perform a range of dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, scaling, root planing (SRP), and adjunctive treatments as needed. Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, including brushing, flossing, plaque control, nutrition, and preventive care. Collaborate with the dental team: Work closely with the dentist and other team members to assess patient needs and ensure they receive the best care possible, and assist with developing individualized treatment plans. Ensure patient comfort and communication: Make patients comfortable throughout appointments, address concerns, build relationships, and encourage good oral hygiene habits. Maintain clinical documentation: Keep accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, documenting all treatments, procedures, and patient interactions. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to provide a safe environment. Manage patient flow: Effectively manage a productive schedule of 8‑12 patients per day while maintaining quality. Ideal Candidate Qualifications Education & Licensure: Degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state dental hygiene license. Experience: Previous experience preferred, but newly graduated hygienists are encouraged to apply. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with a service‑oriented, compassionate approach.
