Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager | $26–$28/hour DOE | Full-Time Embr in Springfield, MA is hiring an Assistant Manager to help lead daily dispensary operations, develop a high-performing team, and ensure an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced, compliant retail environment. Schedule: 40–50 hours/week with open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation & Benefits $26–$28/hour (DOE) Medical, dental, vision, accident, and life insurance (after 90 days) Paid time off Monthly employee samples Employee discount What You'll Do Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily store operations Lead, coach, and develop dispensary staff Ensure compliance with all state regulations and company SOPs Oversee cash handling, inventory, merchandising, and online menu accuracy Track team performance and help maintain operational excellence What You Bring Leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or cannabis Cannabis dispensary experience strongly preferred Experience with Dutchie, METRC, and Weedmaps preferred Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment Must be 21+ and pass all required background checks Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform routine retail tasks, including stocking, cleaning, and merchandising.
