Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established procedures.
• Assess test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance as well as calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Provide assistance with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all actions, train newcomers or students, and maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be completed within your first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure with us.
