What You Will Do

• Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia
• Perform dental prophylaxis and assist with dental extractions
• Place advanced IV and other catheters
• Support emergency and critical care procedures
• Draw samples, run in-house diagnostics, and process lab work
• Take and process radiographs
• Calculate and administer medications and fluid therapy
• Provide surgical prep and assist in the surgical suite
• Care for and monitor hospitalized patients
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
• Run the treatment floor and mentor assistants and newer technicians

What You Bring

• RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) certification, required
• Minimum two years' experience as a veterinary assistant or technician
• Associate degree preferred
• The ability to stay calm and efficient in a medical crisis
• Genuine enjoyment working with animals and people
• Excellent communication skills and a real team-first attitude
