Job Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
• Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team through the model of Shared Governance, with a focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and their families.
• Demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values ( Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence ) in every aspect of patient care and professional practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation and effectively utilize computer systems and electronic medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 1 year of Critical Care experience as a Registered Nurse in a Hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Licensure & Certifications

Required License

• Valid New Jersey Nursing License.

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).

Preferred Certification

• CCRN strongly preferred.
