CHEMICAL BLENDER / FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Monday - Thursday 

7:00 am - 5:30 pm

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move totes, pallets, drums, and other materials.
• Receive incoming materials and prepare outgoing shipments.
• Repackage chemical products into designated containers and apply the appropriate labels.
• Verify product information, quantities, weights, lot numbers, and labels for accuracy.
• Measure and weigh dry ingredients according to written formulas and batch sheets.
• Blend dry chemical products following established procedures.
• Maintain proper product identification and separation to prevent contamination or product mix-ups.
• Complete required blending, production, inventory, shipping, receiving, and labeling documentation.
• Inspect totes, containers, pallets, and packaging for leaks, damage, or other concerns.
• Clean blending equipment, containers, tools, and work areas.
• Follow all chemical-handling, safety, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Report spills, damaged containers, labeling errors, product discrepancies, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately.
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
• Perform additional warehouse, production, and material-handling duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stage chemical totes and other materials.
• Ability to read and follow written formulas, labels, batch sheets, safety procedures, and work instructions.
• Basic math skills with the ability to accurately measure, weigh, and verify quantities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, chemical blending, production, or industrial experience preferred.
