Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Job description:
We are looking for a experienced Dietician to join our compassionate, care-giving team. The Dietician is responsible for ensuring quality nutritional services are provided to residents and overseeing the overall operation of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Kitchen Supervisor and ensure the proper handling, preparation, and storage of food.
- Work with dietician consultant on menu design, recipe creation, and resident-specific meals.
- Prepare production and service documents as required.
- Completion of MDS assessments and necessary resident documentation
- Menu review and planning.
- Assist with employee scheduling, training, and duty assignment.
- Compliance of Local, State, and Federal regulations.
- Ensure proper sanitation/quality standards are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Dietician Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods, and nutrition; food service systems management; or a related area required.
- RD
- Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
Salary commensurate with experience
