Director of Franchise Development

Position : Director of Franchise Development Job Type : Full-Time This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Since then, Broken Yolk Café has become a thriving franchise with 42 locations stretching across the country - and growing fast! For this role, we’re looking for an experienced franchise executive who understands that expansion doesn't start when a deal gets signed; it starts with the story we tell, the partners we choose to work with, and the strategies we build to find them. As a key player on our Franchise Development team, you'll help shape how Broken Yolk Café shows up for prospective franchisees: crafting our positioning, driving industry partnerships, and building the lead-gen engine that fuels our growth. Key Responsibilities: Own the brand's top-of-funnel franchise development strategy, including candidate persona development, brand positioning, and lead-gen planning — to build a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects for the VP of Franchise Development and sales team. Work with digital marketing partners to optimize lead-gen campaigns across channels, ensuring a continuous flow of qualified franchise candidates into the sales pipeline. Collaborate with the internal marketing department on paid and earned media opportunities within the franchising and restaurant space. Own and report on lead-gen performance metrics, including cost-per-lead, lead volume, and lead-to-qualified-candidate conversion rates, reporting regularly on pipeline health and campaign ROI. Partner with the VP of Franchise Development on multi-year development strategies that guide corporate investment and growth priorities Qualify and route inbound franchise prospects to the VP of Franchise Development, ensuring a smooth handoff and consistent candidate experience from first contact through active conversations. Represent the brand at franchise and restaurant trade shows/conferences, as needed and identified by the CEO and VP of Franchise Development. Qualifications: 6+ years experience with franchise sales. Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines. Proven industry expertise and strong connections. Familiarity with Franchise Disclosure Documents and Franchise Agreements. Background interpreting and negotiating contracts, as well as real estate deals. Clear, concise, and persuasive communication skills (written & verbal). A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not a requirement for this role.
