This role will be located at our Centennial, Colorado facility.Role OverviewThe Senior Quality Technician's function is to perform various inspection duties, create and collect inspection data, work closely with Engineering and Operations to resolve issues, and maintain document control in accordance with AS9100, AS9102, and ITAR requirements. This position is Friday-Sunday 7am-7:30pm.What You'll Do...Perform visual and mechanical inspections using measurement and test equipment that includes, but is not limited to pin gages, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gage, profilometer, optical comparator, CMM, and GOM scannerMeasure components and compare results to Engineering drawings that contain GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and industry standard specification controlsCreate, develop, and implement inspection processes based on customer specificationsCreate and run part measurement programs using applicable tooling software, such as PC DMIS or CalypsoCollaborate with Quality & Manufacturing Engineering to resolve any issues found during product realizationAssist with creating and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) such as calibration records, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking, and document controlCreate inspection documentation and collect and verify all data for customer data packet or CoC packetIdentify and record non-conformances using various softwareAssist with root cause analysis and corrective actionsUsing CAD models for programming inspectionRequired Skills2+ years of experience working in a quality positionExperience working in an ISO 9001 manufacturing and inspection environment; aerospace, medical devices, or automotiveExperience writing programs and running CMMExperience in developing and implementing quality procedures and work instructionsProficient with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) read, write and interpretDrawing interpretation backgroundExperience working with various measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)Formal written and verbal communication with internal and external parties (customers and suppliers) as well as performing inter-company and external presentationsProficient in Word, PowerPoint and ExcelThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
