Skills: Amputations, Appendectomy, Arthroscopy, Bronchoscopy, Burns, Carotid Endarterectomy, Cell saver, Cholecystectomy, Code response, Colon resection, Colonoscopy, Craniotomy, Cystoscopy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, EGD, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Fire Safety, General OR, Gunshot/stab wounds, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Latex Allergy, Malignant Hyperthermia, Mastectomy, MVA (multiple injuries), Peg tube placement/exchange, Thyroidectomy partial/total, Total joint replacement, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery)

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Daily Census: 30 cases per day

Number of Rooms: 8

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Well rounded skillset vascular, robotic, neuro experience is a plus

Travel Compliance: SSN DOB RTO must be included at time of the submission

Holidays: Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Can only submit to 1 location within the region

Requires specific amount of exp. (ex: 1 or 2 yrs required for submission)

Valid CA License in hand

Local radius: 50 Mile Radius Rule Applies

Local rule: accepted at lower BR

Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals nearby

Return Staff Policy: 3 months to return as traveler

References Required: 2 References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead

Housing: Please have your traveler look into housing options in the area, as options may be limited

Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent. Over 20 hours requires PM approval. Modules are completed pre-start, and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts
